End
of Year Awards- updated booklet detailing awards presented at end of year. New
additions included changes made beginning in the 2000 season, such as bumping
within preparation levels only and women bump only to another woman. Current
point structure will remain the same for the 2001 season.
PROPOSAL:
Change method of naming
autocross champion. Currently the champion is based on the person who earns the
most points in class. An alternate was suggested that the champion be named by
finding the person whom finishes best using the PAX. To find the champion, PAX
rankings would be given a point value similar to class points.
PROPOSAL:
Base “Most Improved” on PAX ranking. This method will allow charting of
divers to see if a driver has improved by raising themselves in the PAX (a
driver who starts the year in the bottom of the ranking finding themselves more
to the middle by the end of year)
Denver
National Convention- at this time Kenn Dunn is looking to go and represent our

Rally
Program:
We now have licensed rally stewards and would like
to put them to use. To set up a rally we would need workers for: start, finish,
and timing. Entry fees would be per car (not number of people in car) and run
similar autocross fees. A start time would be about 10 or 11 a.m. unless
otherwise planned. A proposed “gimmick” rally will be scheduled.
Autocross:
Autocrosses will continue with
the same fee structure ($10 member, $15 non-member, $5 novice)
Times will continue to be,
driver’s meeting at 10:30, first car out about 11 a.m.
Red River Region has first call
for the TLAC schedule.
Tentative autocross schedule established.
