Unfortunately I was unable to attend the last two events in New Orleans, so it’s been a long dry spell for me. If it wasn’t for Speedvision I probably wouldn’t have survived it. The Canadian Gran Prix was fantastic, watching Michael and Ralf battle it out was great. Is it Ralf or Ralph? Now I’m waiting for the 24 hours of Le Mans. I plan on watching all 24hrs of it. Lots of coffee and chips should keep me awake.

Our TLAC will be on the 24^th and I hope I haven’t forgotten how to drive by then, not that my results this year have shown that I ever knew how to drive. Sure hope we have a great turn out. It will be at Red River Raceway so I’m sure we will have a good turn out.

As Membership Chairman I would like to report our club membership now stands at 61. We seem to be staying in a static position. We gain a few and lose a few. I wish there was a way to spread our away races out a little more so we wouldn’t have to go for such a long period with no local events. I know we have no control over the Divisional schedules, but maybe next year we could suggest that to the TLAC board. Just my opinion, but that’s why I write this article.
