TLAC
1 is over and I for one had a blast. SOWELA put on a great feed Saturday night
with a lot of old friends and competitors reuniting. At Burton Coliseum, the
course used every possible inch of pavement, with some very tricky reducing
radius turns. It flowed well and had a
little of everything for every type of car. I heard many complaints about too
many cones and too narrow of gates, but not that many had problems negotiating
the course. Despite the complaints I think SOWELA hosted an admirable and well
thought out TLAC, one that I would have been proud of. We had a pretty good
sized contingent that made the trek to Lake Charles and brought back our share
of trophies. Next is DELTA’s TLAC on the 20th. Hopefully we will
have as big or bigger turn out.
