More than 46,000 youngsters, from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade, learn every day from 3,600 teachers and administrators. The system’s total staff of 6,600 makes it the largest employer in Caddo Parish. The district budget for all funds is over $350 million.
The system has a total of 73 schools, 5 elementary/ middle schools, 10 middle schools, 11 high schools, and 6 unique schools. Diversity is evident in both student population and school communities. The district covers 889 square miles and encompasses urban centers, suburban neighborhoods, and rural towns and communities.
